Artists and teachers sharing their stories: a Follow up Workshop to Artists in the Classroom

Large Lecture Theatre

 

9:30am - 12:00pm  "Spirit of the Story"

• warm up

• gathering of 5 artists and teachers to Show and Share their work
• may include hands on activities - teach us a song and a dance or help us make something
• each group will be given 30 mins
• photos & video documentation will be shared
• time for questions, discussion

 

Lunch will be provided (watch Sir Ken Robinson keynote video)

 

1:00pm - 3:00pm

• putting our experience into practice - planning for the classroom, grade alike groupings
• resources will be available
• brainstorm ideas for projects & unit planning
• assesment tools - rubrics, journals, data collection ideas
• share plans with the group
